Op zaterdag 5 september 2020 zullen de teambijeenkomsten plaatsvinden in de vergaderzaal onder de kantine, waarbij alle ouders/verzorgers verplicht zijn te komen. Als je niet aanwezig bent, gaan we ervan uit dat je niet komt helpen en kan je kind dit seizoen niet in een team spelen. Dat lijkt heel streng, maar de ervaring heeft ons geleerd dat dit noodzakelijk is om alles rondom en tijdens de wedstrijden goed te laten verlopen.
Doel van deze bijeenkomsten is dat ouders/verzorgers elkaar ontmoeten en afspraken met elkaar maken over hoe zij de taken gaan verdelen die binnen het team vervuld moeten worden. Elk team heeft een ouder/verzorger als teammanager en één als coach nodig. Ook moet elk team iemand leveren die eens in de maand op zondag 3 uurtjes in de zaal tijdens wedstrijden helpt met praktische zaken. Daarnaast vragen we ouders/verzorgers te helpen met tenues wassen, rijden (bij wedstrijden buiten Amsterdam) en scoren (bij thuiswedstrijden). Dit wordt gecoördineerd door de teammanager.
Het schema op 5 september is als volgt:
10:00: U12 (6 teams)
10:30: U14 (6 teams)
11:00: U16 (1 & 2 en de meisjesteams)
11:30: U16 (3 t/m 6)
12:00: U18 (6 teams)
12:00: U20/U22 teams
NB: We zijn nog op zoek naar twee vrijwilligers die de coördinatie van de U16 teams en de U18 teams op zich willen nemen. Taken zijn onder andere de coördinatie van de tenues, communicatie naar de teams en het eens in de 8 weken deelnemen aan de Apollo Jeugdcommissie vergaderingen. Team meetings
Basketball is a team sport, not only in the field but also behind the scenes. A proper organization is very important for a large club as BC APOLLO Amsterdam. Extra hands and knowledge are more than welcome. That is why we ask the parents/guardians of all team players to help as much as they can!
The team meetings will take place on Saturday September 5th, 2020 in the meeting room under the canteen. All parents/guardians are obliged to come. If you are not present, we assume that you will not come to help, and your child will not be able to play in a team this season. That seems very strict, but experience has taught us that it is necessary to make everything run smoothly around and during the matches.
The purpose of these meetings is that parents/guardians meet each other and agree about how they will divide the tasks which must be fulfilled within the team. Each team needs a parent/guardian as a team manager and one as a coach. Each team must also provide someone who helps with practical matters once a month for 3 hours on Sundays in the Apollo hall during games. In addition, we ask parents to help with laundry, driving (games outside Amsterdam) and scoring (home games). This is co-ordinated by the team manager.

10:00: U12 (6 teams)
10:30: U14 (6 teams)
11:00: U16 (1 & 2 and the girls teams)
11:30: U16 (3 to 6)
12:00: U18 (6 teams)
12:00: U20/U22 teams
We are still looking for two volunteers who would like to co-ordinate the U16 teams and the U18 teams. Tasks include co-ordinating the outfits, communicating to the teams and participating in the Apollo Youth Committee meetings every 8 weeks.
